ONLINE SESSIONS
I know that online sessions are not everyone’s cup of tea. Should you decide to book with me, be assured that online sessions are just as effective as in person sessions. I will be honoured to work with you!
SESSIONS DETAILS
Each session is up to 90 minutes as needed, and my rate is 160 Can dollars for each session.

BOOKING
Booking is done through my online booking system.
Process: Choose your date and time. Book. Pay in advance using a credit card as directed by the system.
If you don’t use a credit card, email me at sassonabaron@gmail.com with your chosen date and time. I will book your session for you. Kindly send an e-transfer of 155.00 to sassonabaron@gmail.com BEFORE the session to hold your space.
Telephone consultations, email correspondence, drafting documents etc. will be charged by the ¼ hour according to my hourly rate.
CANCELLATION POLICY
24 hour notice is required for a full session refund. A full session fee will apply to any cancellations that occur less that 24 hours before the appointment.
THIRD PARTY COVERAGE
Some employers cover counselling services provided by Registered Clinical Counsellors. Check with your workplace to verify that you are covered. After each session, I provide you with a receipt that has my BCACC registration number.
CONFIDENTIALITY POLICY
The personal information you share with me is confidential, and confidentiality is always maintained. There are, however, some exceptions to my confidentiality:
1. In the event of the client’s expression of an intention to harm self or others
2. If information is evident that you are neglecting or abusing a child or an incapacitated adult.
3. In the event of subpoena issued for the appropriation of the therapist notes.
SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY
Please be aware that if you choose to follow me on my limited social media, your name or picture will be public. Sassona (Sony) Baron at Baron Counselling is not responsible for your confidentiality on her social media. You alone are responsible for your own confidentiality on social media sites.
